Township Committee Authorizes $515,000 Legal Services Contract

NJ MONTGOMERY — Township Committee approves legal services and multiple agreements. The Township Committee authorized a $515,000 professional services agreement with Scarinci Hollenbeck, LLC for legal counsel through December 31, 2026, approved 4-0-1 with Committee Member Dennis Ahn abstaining; the contract covers Township Attorney Wendy Rubinstein Quiroga, Tax Litigation Attorney Joseph Ranieri, and Labor Attorney Mark Tabakin, who recently joined the firm from Weiner Law Group. The Committee also renewed the ARRIVE Together Program agreement with Bridgeway Behavioral Health Services through June 30, 2027, supporting law enforcement response to behavioral health crises; authorized grant applications for $50,000 toward a historic structures report for the Old Municipal Center in Harlingen and up to $5,000 for a Community Forest Management Plan; granted permits for a youth soccer tournament and farmers market; and approved 2026 salaries for township employees.
