NJ MONTGOMERY — Montgomery Township Committee approves $379K engineering contract, accepts land gift. The Committee voted unanimously to authorize $379,165 in professional services to Menlo Engineering Associates for the Orchard Road Phases 2-4 Reconstruction project, encompassing one mile of roadway with pedestrian and bicycle facilities, stormwater management, utility work and ADA provisions between Community Drive and Burnt Hill Road. Design proceeds in three phases with New Jersey Department of Transportation funding anticipated for 2026, 2027 and 2028.
The Committee also unanimously accepted an 8.868-acre gift from Harlingen Associates LLC for open space and conservation purposes.
