Environmental Commission plans spring activities, data center strategy

NJ MONTGOMERY — Environmental Commission schedules spring events, explores data center regulations. The Montgomery Environmental Commission approved its spring environmental calendar, including an April 18 stream cleanup with 42 registrations and a May 3 Earth Day fair, while examining municipal ordinances to regulate data center construction. Commission member Jim Bushong pledged to donate plants and labor for a pollinator habitat project at the Municipal Center detention basins.

Township Engineer Mark Herrmann and Township Administrator Lori Savron will receive the Watershed Institute's Ted Stiles Award for their work on regional watershed planning.
