Township Committee · Meeting of September 17, 2026
NJ MONTGOMERY — Montgomery committee directed study of Kenvue property for potential redevelopment. The Township Committee voted 4-0 on September 17 to have the Planning Board investigate whether the site at 199 Grandview Road meets criteria for non-condemnation redevelopment designation, as part of the municipality's affordable housing settlement. The Committee also authorized an escrow agreement with E.
Kahn Development Corp. to fund the investigation costs. Attorney David Minchello explained the study is required after a judge directed the township to meet with E. Kahn Development before approving the affordable housing compliance plan; without that approval, the township could lose immunity from builder remedy lawsuits.
