Board of Health elects McGeary as president for 2026

NJ MONTGOMERY — Montgomery Board of Health elects new officers for 2026. Dr. McGeary was elected president, Dr.
Newman vice president, and Dr. Sharma secretary, all unanimously. The board adopted seven resolutions establishing its 2026 operations, including the meeting schedule, notice procedures, and a $12 annual subscription charge.
The board approved health services contracts with Zufall Health Center, Hillsborough Health Department, Homecare Veterinary Group, and SAVE, A Friend to Homeless Animals. The board continued its delegation of septic design approvals to licensed environmental health staff and appointed Dr. Siddiq A.
Faisal, MD, as Medical Advisor/Director.
