NJ MONTGOMERY — Board of Health approves routine April agenda while septic system concerns linger. The board unanimously approved monthly health department, communicable disease, and animal control reports, along with February 11 meeting minutes, during its April 8 session. Board members present included Dr.
Grayson, Dr. Sharma, Dr. Newman, Dr.
Saraiya, Dr. Joseph Prati, and Dr. Divya Sareen.
Resident Michele Parise raised concerns about the township's septic management program fees and applicability to certain systems during public comment, prompting Health Officer Devangi Patel to provide background on historical implementation and early-1990s exemption criteria. The board noted plans for a potential review of the septic tank management program and heard preliminary findings from an ongoing Age-Friendly Needs Assessment led by Emily Schreiner.
